Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking a mobile windscreen repair or replacement.

1. Service Provision

ChipFix Mobile Windscreens provides call-out repair and replacement services directly to your vehicle. We aim to complete all work to the highest standard during our initial visit. Because our work is conducted outdoors or at your premises, if weather conditions or severe safety concerns prevent immediate work, we will pause operations and reschedule the appointment at the earliest possible opportunity to ensure a safe and secure installation.

2. Booking and Cancellations

When you schedule a mobile repair, we reserve a specific time slot for our technicians to travel to you. We kindly request that you provide at least 24 hours of notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment. This adequate notice allows us to adjust our daily routes efficiently and offer the time slot to another customer requiring urgent glass assistance.

3. Scope of Work

Our technicians specialize exclusively in automotive glass. We will assess the damage upon arrival. If a chip is deemed too large, positioned dangerously within the driver's line of sight, or structurally compromised, we will advise that a full replacement is necessary rather than a simple repair. The final decision on the safest repair method remains at the discretion of our trained technicians.

4. Warranty and Liability

We guarantee our windscreen replacements against leaks and our chip repairs against further cracking for as long as you own the vehicle. This guarantee is strictly limited to the workmanship and materials provided during the call-out. It does not cover new damage caused by subsequent impacts, accidents, vandalism, or underlying structural vehicle faults affecting the glass frame.

5. Payment Terms

Payment must be made in full upon completion of the repair or replacement service unless prior billing arrangements have been agreed upon. We accept major credit and debit cards on-site via our mobile payment terminals. All prices quoted prior to the appointment include standard materials and travel to your location.
